NDIS

Your NDIS Partner

ADS Care has been a preferred provider of the National Disability Insurance Scheme since the first NSW trial site in 2013. We have a major presence in most Sydney Metro areas and are NDIS ready. Let us guide you through the process to more freedom, greater control with personal choice and individualised funding

What is the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)?

The NDIS supports people with a permanent and significant disability. They will work with you to identify supports you need to live your life that may help you achieve your goals, including independence, involvement in your community, education, employment and health. The NDIS gives you more choice and control over how, when and where your supports are provided.

How can you access NDIS?

You need to meet the following requirements:

  • Have a permanent disability that significantly affects your ability to take part in everyday activities.
  • Be aged less than 65 when you first access the scheme
  • Be an Australian citizen, live in Australia and hold a permanent visa or hold a protected special category visa
  • Live in one of the NDIS areas

You can use the ‘Access Checklist” on the www.ndis.gov.au website to find out if you might be able to access the NDIS. Otherwise contact ADS Care and we will guide you.

Next Steps

  • Once  NDIS has confirmed you can access the scheme, a planner will meet you
  • Together, you will discuss your needs, goals and aspirations
  • This may take more than one meeting and you can bring someone with you
  • Using this information, your planner will develop a plan that meets your needs
